He grew up with very little, but never lacked people who believed in him — a guru who funded his schooling, and a brother who supported him on his meagre salary so he could study. He cleared the UPSC on his first attempt and rose to Chief Secretary of Bihar, yet never stopped helping others and had time for everyone. He taught us that the love and kindness we receive are meant to be passed on.
The 'Jayam' of JayamHari.
Warm, nurturing and endlessly giving, she cares for everyone as her own and is deeply passionate about serving the underserved — the very purpose of this foundation. A dedicated lecturer in philosophy, she earned her MA, B.Ed and PhD while raising three children, devoting herself to her students until retiring in 2010.
Giving back gives him his purpose.
He grew up watching his parents give freely to others, and it shaped everything he does. Today he carries that forward — supporting the education of underserved children, free eye care, and other causes close to home. An earlier career in senior leadership and consulting across India and the U.S. gave him the means; giving back gives him his purpose.
